This work combines Images mined from the internet and from other people’s cameras that are layered and reconfigured through the pixel matrix of the raster grid.

In this work form and colour reveal the underlying processual nature of the digital photographic image and its glitches and flaws. The Process of montaging by hand large scale photographic images creates a new image that is foregrounded through the technology.

Rather than framing reality through a viewfinder in a camera I condense images and layer them into a large work that people have to slow down to unpick the layers in the picture, the antithesis of the fast low quality `networked` image online.
